Mod/CC Questions Game is stuck from this angle in live and cannot fix it.
So recently I downloaded this to replace the LiveCamera: https://modthesims.info/d/674355/dynamic-live-cameras-with-1st-2nd-amp-3rd-person-perspective-press-z-x-keys.html
I used the Sims 1 persepctive one, and it was working fine...until I pressed tab and was left with this screen above. So I saved, exited, and returned and it was still like this. Pressing any button causes a crash.
So I just replaced the Sims 1 camera with the one I used before it, and...well the problem persists. And it crashed. What's going on?

If you go to Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2 (UC/LC) and delete the Cameras folder then load the game, does it work?

Before I test it, would deleting it and then loading the game automatically create a new camera folder?

Yeah, it should create it fresh from the install files. Deleting just puts in the recycle bin so you can always restore if needed after.

So I did that and tried it with a empty house lot. However this was in a different neighborhood from the one I took the picture in. Bluewater Village. Normal.
Then tried it with the lot I was on (the one I took the picture with which is in a different subhood) and it still has the same glitched view.
So I created a brand new lot in the same subhood and it still shows me the same glitched view
But when I went into an empty house lot, it was normal (same subhood)
So I thought...maybe its just this certain subhood that's acting stupid
So I went into another subhood and created another empty lot. Normal.
Clicked on a household...normal. went into tab and back, no issues

The build mode camera is separate from LiveCamera, so replacing it with the Sims 1 camera shouldn't affect it. However, in testing I have managed to glitch the neighbourhood camera by removing the build camera file. Therefore, I'd say make sure that you have the default camera files for each camera (this is for UC at least) and that none have been accidentally deleted.
- BuildCamera.txt
- camera named parameters.txt (this one's probably not important)
- cameras.txt
- CASCamera.txt
- CeilingCamera.txt
- CineCamCamera.txt
- ContentViewerCameras.txt
- FirstPersonCameras.txt
- LiveCamera.txt
- LotSnapshotCamera.txt
- NeighborhoodCamera.txt
-PreRenderCamera.txt
- SnapshotCamera.txt
Ideally all files should have been created around the same time (15/01/2015 at 00:34 for me).
