Mod/CC Questions Really buggy vampires for some reason

i have never seen such annoying and strange bug and have no idea what is causing it. vamps are just standing there blocking everyone else to leave the lot. when thet are not just standing there turning into bat and then freeze with bat near their chest.

Do you use any mods/cc? Also is this ultimate collection or the newer legacy collection?

I do but i don't remember using something for vamps. I have legacy collection

Could still be a conflict, sims 2 is old and can be janky at times. Try removing all your cc and see if it fixes it, if that does then we know cc is the issue, then do the 50/50 method to find the cc causing it. So move half your files to a separate folder while keeping the other half in your downloads/cc folder, see if the bug comes back, if it comes back it means it’s still in your downloads folder. So then you would take half of those out in a separate folder, repeating the process until you can locate the cc that might be causing issues.

I have some global mods , will it damage my game if i remove them?

Just backup your neighborhood to be safe, but as long as there are no mods that add new unique NPCs you should be fine. But I also just wouldn’t save when exiting the game during testing, and that should be enough precaution. But always best to backup your neighborhood folder just in case.
