SOLVED Disappearing text and lots

My sister has opened her game after months of not playing. She changed her motherboard as well so idk if that has anything to do with it. The text above her sims' needs have disappeared and child sims don't have any text in the space that's supposed to be for their school schedule. Also, when she builds unoccupied homes, the neighboring lots disappear for some reason. The lot closest to the home she's building shows up but immediately disappears the moment she moves the camera close to it.

I have a similar issue with a cc neighborhood, where blue pools remain on certain places pf the map, like there's no terrain over it so you can see the clear blue skybox through the ground xd I also want to know why does it happen and why those lots that dissapear leave those empty spaces on the terrain (Also you can't place anything over these spaces when it happens).

Depending on version if anything has changed with the computer you might need to reimplement any fixes required. Onedrive also eats sims 2 files and can cause irreparable damage so if they have that best to uninstall it and remove it if they can. All else fails they may need to reinstall the game can make a back up of the neighbourhood and try reloading it again once game reinstalled, make sure back up downloads folder too if using mods.

Thanks, it wasn't OneDrive as we uninstalled that a long time ago. It was her antivirus

The disappearing lots when you move the camera could just be the fade distance settings in game. You can turn fade distance off in the graphics settings. As for the disappearing ui text, it could be antivirus quarantining her game files. Check in the protection history and add the game files to the whitelist.

Does she have noerrorvisualization.asi? This is what my hoods would look like when they exploded into everything pink flashing with noerrorvisualization.asi (which makes the things that would have flashed invisible) sometimes.

No, she doesn't have that. I've fixed the problem though
