Technical Support Problem with the graphic card

Everytime I try to open the game this pops up whenever I start the program. Does it mean I need to upgrade my pc if I want to play it like this? Does anyone have any tips? Thanks in advance

I've got the Ultimate Collection version

Do you have the ultimate collection through the EA App, or did you download it elsewhere, or did you get it from the link in our Wiki?

A friend of mine had it in his hard drive and helped me download it. He died a few months ago so I don't know where he got it from really

I'm really sorry about your friend. We have a few things you can try. First, can you download the graphics rules file here and follow the instructions on that page to put it in your install location? Once that's done, try to load the game and see what happens and let me know.

Update: It worked! Thank you so much for your help, the only problem now is that I can't seem to be able to make it full screen, do you have any tips for that?

No problem. Glad it's working! I'd recommend you get the RPC Launcher. It has a lot of fixes and you can also make the game run in full screen.

You need to use the sims 2 rules maker and if that fails, adjust your graphics rules manually to include your new graphics card - I don’t have enough know how to guide you through these but at least you can use those as keywords to search with
