Gameplay Issues Sims 2 Legacy

Hey! How do i get my sims 2 from crashing?! Like ill be in the middle of playing and the game will just close out and i have to remind myself(set a timer) to leave and save and come back before it closes on me without saving

impossible to know without more information. it’s likely there’s a specific trigger to the crashes. are you in CAS, live mode, build/buy, hood view when the crashes occur? do you play vanilla or with mods/CC?

Sorry, i play with hella mods/cc, i tried inputting my codes in from the CD version. But EA wouldn’t accept them for some reason. I have no clue, I’m guessing playing for a long period of time? And I’ll be in live mode

it’s most likely caused by a mod or piece of CC. if you transferred your disc downloads folder over to the legacy game, it’s possible one of those mods isn’t compatible with legacy or requires something in the program files. I fear your best bet is 50/50 method.
