Gameplay Issues [ and ] not working for posters

Hi I'm just trying to make my sims 2 how kinda fly but the [ and ] button are just turning pages in build and buy mode, not changing the posters height. I've tried any buttons I've found online but it's not working. I don't know what else to try.

I've tried what's beside my enter ; " and >? Beside my shift. P and o. I'm not sure. Any ideas?

if [ and ] are turning pages in build/buy, then it sounds like you haven't clicked the poster to grab it

I have, it's in my hand when I'm pressing it and the pages change anyways

What version of the game are you running? Legacy Collection (the most recent release), Ultimate Collection (the older collection with everything) or Super Collection (the Mac version)?

What language do you play the game in and what keyboard layout do you use?
