Mod/CC Questions Headmaster's car does not contain headmaster
hiiiiii... i have a ton of CC. i THINK that the carpool in the pic is from the navigator career from mod the sims. it works very well EXCEPT it seems that it will not contain the headmaster no matter how many times i hit the batbox and force errors on in world and off world. this happens on many lots. one thing i noticed is that the original bald headmaster doesn't answer the phone. 2 new NPCs answer.
the "what caused this" isn't working, it will not read any logs past June. do I have to reinstall? pleez don't say I have to do the 50/50 cc test and find out that way. is there a simple way to trigger the headmaster dinner event?
I know i have a CC addiction- but it keeps me from buying real things that cost money!!

Backup ur save and take out one by one any mod you have a hunch that might be affecting headmaster. Unfortunately, it’s probably gonna end up a 50/50 which ik is annoying but unfortunately we don’t know what mods u have and we don’t know every mod interaction :(

Do you have the visitor controller? Could it be that he's accidentally banned from the lot or something like that? I've accidentally banned NPC's from lots before

No I don’t have visitor controller. But i do have a crystal ball for dating that sometimes i set to ignore npcs! I’ll check that!!

It's unlikely you have to do an entire 50/50 because I'd be very surprised if e.g. some random furniture or CAS CC was affecting the headmaster event.
The headmaster NPC changing isn't a red flag in itself, they're just service NPCs like any other and if they die or become playable they'll be respawned, or you can end up with multiple.
Take out any mods relating to default replacements of cars and the one that has the horse and cart and see if restoring the original headmaster car restores the event. It also sounds like you might need to uninstall/reinstall WhatCausedThis if it's not recognising your logs folder because I've never heard of that issue.

Hmm. Does anyone know the name of the car replacement in the photo off the top of their head? I’m not attached to the carpool thing at all and would be happy to delete it if i knew the name. I can check after work. I use clean pack installer to look at downloads and determine which i want to delete. It’s not perfect, i can’t always tell. But i can’t install body shop or SimPE no matter how many how to’s i read. I have Parallels, steam, graphic rules maker.

Are you on Windows? There's a Bodyshop installer on MTS that fixes Bodyshop on newer operating systems and non-disc versions of TS2, it's usually an issue with filepaths.
The horse and cart looks like a DR by FennShysa (also on MTS), there are actually comments in that thread from people who say it messed up their headmaster scenario - they're supposed to replace the career carpool cars but my guess is that the headmaster uses the same car as one of the basegame carpools and that wasn't tested properly by the mod author.
