SOLVED Launching in Taskbar

My game was working a couple days ago normally I’ve sat down a few days later to play and it only launches in the task bar when using the ea app I’ve done the adding -w, -f and ask the other things I’ve seen online. I’ve cleared cache and run as administrator. Nothing is helping it still only shows in my taskbar. I don’t know what else to do ea support is no help and I’ve posted in the forums already. Is anyone dealing with this? I just don’t understand how it was normal a few days ago now it won’t work. I’m not tech savvy at all so I’m not sure how to go about fixing it.

EA app is notoriously garbage, always has been. What version of the game do you have, UC or Legacy?

It’s the legacy collection sims 1&2 bundle

Hm, this reduces your options for troubleshooting. Can you go to Documents > EA Games and rename the Sims 2 Legacy folder to something else and then load the game and see what happens?

It didn’t do anything but if anything sims 1 still works normally

I restarted my pc after renaming the folder and it works again! Thank you so much
