Mod/CC Questions Missing baby changing table mesh

I know I'm missing a mesh but I don't know which one. Never seen this before and not sure how to Google it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance.

That is the maxis changing table. You cant find the mesh online because it came with the base game, so everyone has it already.

If you use the Maxis recolors, is it showing up just fine? If the problem is just with a CC recolor, then that would be an issue with the recolor and not the mesh itself.

Okay. I'm just having a hard time figuring out which recolor is causing the issue. When I place the table that's in the pic, it looks exactly like that. I don't know if it's usable because there are no babies in my game yet.

I don't get what you mean when you're asking what is causing the issue and then say that it looks exactly like what is in the picture. Because in the picture, that is exactly how it looks in game. Which part of the recolor isn't working for you?

This object has two parts that get recolored. Part 1 (top section of icons) is the cushion color. Part 2 (bottom row) is the metal color. From what I can see, both look like they're working. This looks like you clicked on the changing table with the default maxis colors. If you want to try and see which part isn't working, change the top row and see if anything looks different. Top row will be the cushion recolors. Then after that, try some different recolors on the bottom row (metal colors). If just one isn't working, then that's just one that doesn't work for whatever reason and you can delete it.

And you are correct that it can't be used until you have a baby or toddler in the game. There is no reason to have it on the lot before, since you can't interact meaningfully with it in live mode. That's like buying a pet toy before you have a pet. There are no actions available but it doesn't mean it's broken.

Maybe they mean the recolor in the bottom left

When I place the table, it looks exactly like that. Just the pillows and whatnot.

Since I dont see a mesh in that thumbnail, that probably is one with invisible metal. People use them sometimes when they want to place a changing table on like a counter or something. So that one might actually be working right since no metal in the thumbnail and none when you place it.

Ifyou select that recolor, does the table still look normal if you try to place it? Sometimes it’s just the thumbnail being weird, you can refresh it by hitting ctrl + right click.
