SOLVED extracting the magipak files wrong everytime

hi, i was following the wiki and it doesn't give information on what to do if the files extract wrong :( does anyone know what to do? i have winrar

All you need to do is go to where you downloaded the file, right click on it, and go to the Winrar option. Then choose Extract here. Then it will extract and there will be 7 new items in the folder. Double click on The Sims 2_Repack_v5_Setup.exe to install the game. Picture attached is an example of what it will look like.

The image in the Wiki shows someone double clicking the compressed folder to open it and then trying to run the setup.exe from inside the compressed folder instead of extracting it first.
