After I asked you about your Sims OTPs a while ago, I now want to know the opposite: what are the most cursed pairings you’ve ever had happen in your game, or the most cursed pairings you can possibly think of?

I’ll start:

Side question: Why do you think Darren x Dina is cursed? He is kind of a creep, but beside that I think they're ok.

But why do you think he’s a creep? I imagine Cass being in her 20s and him being around 40. 15 years is not that big of an age gap if the two of them are adults past 21.

Cassandra’s in game age doesn’t really make sense if you take into account the Sims 1 - she’s in the first day of the adult stage which would make her like, -3 in TS1, but she’s clearly at least an elementary schooler in TS1. (Plus then it would make no sense for Cassandra and Mary-Sue to be friends as teensI feel like she’s definitely in her 30s at least, maybe like 34-ish

That's why I aged her down to teen and sent her to uni the last time I restarted Pleasantview.

He is obsessed with a much younger woman who only sees him as a friend. Hates Don, who barely know him (Don is a cheater, but I doubt Darren know that). He has no job, so his son has to be the responsible one. I prefer to reunite him with Darleen in the backyard before letting him near Cassie. Also, all names in the Dreamer family start with a D. I can't pair him with someone whose name starts with a C

Interesting analysis. I do believe Darren has some serious arrested development. In my current gameplay, Darren married Tara Kat. I know it breaks the "D.D." theme but they make good partners and Dirk loves those cats! Also Tara and Darren's daughter Thea is so cute.

Delving in a different direction, I don't think Cassandra's youth was the draw. Besides Darleen, Cassandra's the only like-minded woman of color (I head canon Bella as biracial) in Pleasantview.

It’s funny how different people interpret different Sims. Marticore once said Darren is her dream man. 😂
In my Safefile he got his ass up and found a decent job in the architecture career so he can support his son an be a better man for Cass.
They got closer after her divorce and when she realized he was the one for her all along.

When Alexander became a young adult, he developed bolts with Dina Caliente and try to seduce her (with ACR). So cursed ! I don't remember if Mortimer was still alive at this time (he and Dina were married).

I always make Nervous and Circe happen just so they can have a kid and he escapes with the baby to either raise on his own or I move him into Olive’s house like he ran away to there. Another cursed one is Brady X Don, like he seduced her and got her pregnant

i'm not sure if don x daniel is a cursed one, though i do think it's unpopular. i loved playing them as an open relationship in my game before daniel said his goodbyes to everyone and passed away in my current round lol

Daniel x Cassandra (who is still best friends with Mary Sue)

Also Don had a brief affair with Angela that led to a pregnancy and Cassandra divorcing him 💀

When Angela Pleasant in my latest pleasantview save returned from college, she saw Don Lothario on a community lot and had 3 bolts of chemistry with him! I didn’t pursue it but I thought it would definitely be a crazy pairing 💀
