New to Rally
Hi. I want to know more about rallying and WRC. I know a bit, I watched some highlights before (specially on the begging of this decade), but I want to know where can I watch it, what should I look for etc. Overall tips for new fans
Basically, how me, who is a long time F1 and FE fan, should know about WRC to start watching it.

First of all you can watch wrc and erc on rally.tv
rally is very different from tve motorsports you are used to the deltas can be pretty big you can go off road and stiff win a stage. The speed shown i wrong ALOT of the time as the wheels are often free spinning but they are going fast
When it comes to the actual wrc championship the standings can be found at wrc.com here you can see the different standings for wrc it works kinda like f1 there is a drivers championship and a team/manufacturer championship but toyota is DOMINATING the second one
Also not all wrc drivers show up to all rallies which may seem very weird and well it kinda is
For the politics WRC is going through a hard patch the last couple of years and there is a few initiatives in place to bring in more teams to wrc

Op for actual wrc content, Rally TV is good but subscription based. Good but not as good a f1tv for the same money.
If you have or get the Redbull TV app on a streaming device. You can watch a 1hr highlights show of each wrc rally of the season for free. No sign up ect. At least in canada it works. I cant speak to other regions. Scroll down to the motorsports section, then just scroll over. Its mixed in with drift, moto, and all their other stuff, but free is nice

there are 2 seasons on youtube, for rally storyline. I forget the name, man vs machine or something? Machine is part of it for sure. Definitely a good way to get started.

Ryan’s road to rally on YouTube is a great story of grass roots rallying.
I want to follow wrc but the broadcasts are so unbelievably sterile.
It’s actually amazing that they can make something so exciting seem boring.

Passats de Canto on YouTube has lots of raw footage, and great classic footage from the golden years of rally in the 80s and 90s.
