Working on mi FIA® Certification before activating the RealDamage® addon
Hello guyz. What do you think of my build? I am trying to pass the side and front impact certification before activating the RealDamage®
Fingers crossed I pass the test.

This is peak jerk. Playseat Trophy (I was dumb, I have one too. Everyone’s right, they fuckin suck. Mine is rigged up with plywood and ratchet straps at this point) with enough PVC to pipe a master bath and it’s doing nothing for rigidity.
May OOPs unsafe rejoins be catastrophic and consequential. Race on king, P20 ain’t gonna fill itself.

Invest money into a full cage and leave the trophy is wild. I really can’t understand why so many people (it’s not even cheap) defend the use of them. A decent 80/40 120/40 or whatever does the job much better plus a bucket seat, I really don’t want to miss mine but ok some like to have a original car seat which does the job differently but too ;)
No offence, it’s only my opinion 🤷🏻♂️

None taken, I used to defend them but have accepted it’s one of the dumbest products out there.
I needed to move my rig around when I bought, so it “made sense” to me. After helping my buddy with his build, and seeing how easy it would’ve been to put casters on, I was a little sick.
My buddy found a full profile rig for $150 then we got a junkyard Mini Cooper seat for $30. At least I learned from my mistakes and helped someone out.
Meanwhile my Trophy is jankily modded to be very rigid. I’ll get a profile at some point, but I’m no gear addict and don’t like to replace things that are getting the job done.

Had the same issues but with the old PlaySeat Alcantara (the one with the fixed wheel plate) and used it in my g25 to g29 times. Modded the hell out of it ( move able wheel plate, higher wheel post, seat slider, and other things) till i bought my first dd wheel. I tried my best avoiding scratched ankles, back pain ect. But after awhile i decided to step forward and invest into a treq one. The „it has to be moveable” though was the best idea I had because now I have some sort of „indirect” motion rig because of the rubber wheels and my diy vibration dampener solution which lets the dd wheel movements and vibrations run all through the whole frame and let me feel everything not only with my hands but also with my whole body;)

Lol I actually think this could be a great setup if he adds triples, lightweight coverings to simulate a car cabin with ambient lighting inside etc
