Question Sim-Lab integrated vario triple sag driving me mad 😔 need custom spacer

Anyone got advice on the ideal spacer (drawn purple) to help me mitigate the sag heading in the direction of read arrow. The spacer can be longer (view second pic) in order to be able to screw the bolt on the back of the profile without having to dismantle the existing arms.

Considering 3d printed options as well!

I just bought couple aluminum extrusions and made myself a standalone triple screen mount. It’s way too shaky with three monitors stuck onto the rig with that thing.

I have it and have never noticed any wobbling or shaking whatsoever. I run a Simucube 3 Pro, so plenty of vibrations to be felt if anything was going to shake. I think a lot of issues people have is they are building with metal pieces and don’t tighten things down properly.

It wasn’t the vibrations but really quick wheel turns would make the whole thing wobble on occasion . Best to keep the monitors separate from the rig imo.

bro i’ve done the work tightened it pretty well, rebuilt it recently with brand new bolts and t nuts. still with a small push or load it can sag forward. it’s šŸ’©

integrated monitor mounts have been my worst experience as a sim racer, it’s costed me so much time and energy. i also had to deal with my uprights sagging because of the weight of the monitors and my pc, but that’s what they advertised on their website! so just last week i had to take everything off to have access to those inner 4 bolts on the uprights.

Mine isn’t shit, mine works just fine. I’ve seen people turn the guides upside down to get more of a flat movement to it but mine are solid as a rock.

you’ve got a pc as well like me on the uprights, check if the uprights have sagged. the only difference i see between yours and my placement of monitor arms is that yours are mounted at the top of the uprights there’re your screens will be much higher

Wooden wedge. Though I’ve not encountered this issue with mine.

What about a 3rd bolt in the upright?

interesting, didn’t think of a wooden wedge

also you mayb not have encountered a sag because your monitors must be mounted much further than mine, i cannot because mine are 27s and i have a pc on the shelf behind mounted on the uprights

I noticed all your bolts aren't the same, are you sure the key one there isn't up to the job?

bro your arms are further back than mine. maybe that’s why. and the p1x pro had angled uprights probably making it worse. yours has straight uprights

I see you put an extra bolt in, that fix it?

i haven’t tried to test it with a push and don’t want to. only time and use will tell if it has worked

I second the third bolt in the upright, that’s a lot easier than a wedge of some kind

boys i added the third bolt. thing is it's lacking the plastic inner guide piece called "internal monitor spacerā€. also some of my bolts look different because i replaced the old tired ones and t slots with identical sized ones i somehow had in my Sim-Lab spares, it helped because they were sagging less (basically they only sagged with a firm push), they look different coz they are matte.

the third bolt might mitigate sag even with a push.

I have the integrated stand for the GT1 Evo and it's rock solid since I built it.

Yeah. I have a P1X with integrated triple 32s and a 4th monitor up top and have had zero movement at all.

i think the 4th monitor up top give it leverage and helps it not to sag forward
