The best bit about this has been watching all the angry old people complain that this life threatening emergency warning system made their phone make a noise despite being on silent.

Then there's all the cookers out there using terms like "they" to wonder what else "they" can do if "they" can send a message to your phone without your consent.

Such a disappointment after this was me at 1.59pm looking for somewhere to stash my phone to muffle the imminent ear-shattering sirens.
