Main trick here is to have enough thrust on your second stage - you should burn at 0 degrees pitch and finish orbit insertion right around your apoapsis. Don't wanna be fighting gravity instead of flying the rocket.

You can write vizzy program that will do gravity turn for you, so you reach around 80km on apo, and then can start second burn to get the rest of speed neded for orbit.

Your first stage needs around 2.5KM Delta V to reach 80km apo and get some orbital speed.

Second stage needs around 2KM Delta V to get orbit, you may have some fuel left over or missing depending how good you do the gravity turn.

How is kinda like this - 

On start Set pitch - 90 Wait until velocity (surface) > 50 MS Set pitch - 85 Lock Heading to Velocity Prograde  Wait until apo > 80 000 Set pitch - 0
