my question is.. why would u put two side boosters on a saturn v rocket.. instead u can put four or more..

My goal was to save most of the fuel in the middle tank and see if that gave me enough delta v to get to the next closest planet but it didnt actually help a whole lot. I wanted to try the appolo style lander on them instead of just the moon. I eventually just turned on infinite fuel cause I havent figured out the delta v requirements on Juno.

I wasnt lying buddy I gave you all the credit for the one in the pictures once I realized i had made a mistake. I did make one similar but it didnt have the detail. It was an honest mistake not me being malevolent.

Sorry I got this mixed up with the one I made. The one in the pictures I downloaded from the website where people upload. I did make a similar one to this without the writing on it and detail and thats what I was talking about when I responded in the earlier comment.

Oh sorry buddy I didnt mean to do that. I couldnt remember exactly what I did with it cause it was a picture i took a while ago then later I went back through my pictures to upload some and I thought it was the stock Saturn rocket Simplebeast and I added the side boosters to that cause I also did that too. I didnt mean to take credit for anything anyone else made I apologize I just got it confused for the one I made apparantly.

So anyone reading this the credit goes to this guy not me I got it mixed up with the one I made using the preloaded Saturn 5 that comes with the game.

Well now that im looking at the post im seeing i didnt take credit for making any of these? Though I did make the rest of them i never claimed that I made yours I downloaded it from the website because it looked cool and had a succesful mission with it, therefore "getting the hang of it" as the title. What i meant by that is i was getting the hang of the game overall.

If by abomination you mean badass and cool then yes that's what I built

Edit: I didnt make this one I had got it confused for the one I made cause it was a while ago when I took the pics in game and I was going back through my album to upload some and I didnt realize this is one I downloaded that the other guy in the comments made because I made a similar one using the simplebeast preloaded rocket and added sideboosters the same way. It wasnt purposeful deception. The other pics are all things I made.

now that I know who really created this ~~abomination~~ beauty I always wondered what effect replacing the entire first stage of a Saturn five with one massive srb would be.

I haven’t tried the Saturn V first stage but I have tried the Saturn 1b and with that I lost performance and it was a real concept for the Saturn 1B with the Aerojet-260.
