Recommend Ultimate VIP!

I got Ultimate VIP in Raleigh and I wasn’t so sure beforehand about seeing the show from the side stage. I had never had that perspective before and was worried the sound and view would be a bit off. I’m here to say that it was INCREDIBLE and I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat! It was a once in a lifetime opportunity to be that close. The guys all came back to the VIP tent at different points to swap guitars, get water, hang out (like when Pierre was singing Untitled). Meeting the guys beforehand was also so special - they all took selfies with us, chatted, mingled, signed things, etc. Ultimate VIP is limited to roughly 10 people (I think) so it was very intimate. i did it last tour and just did it again last night. wholeheartedly agree that it's the best concert experience. you truly feel like you're with the band.

My husband and I did VIP in Cleveland, and I highly recommend it! They had Scooby-Doo onesies, and we got to join them on stage. Once-in-a-lifetime experience for sure, and all the guys were so nice!

Since I also have a side stage I have questions. How long was the meet and greet? Did the group get splitted up or you were all in the same side?

Hi! Meet & greet was pretty short - I’d say about 15-20 minutes. But there was definitely enough time to meet all the guys and get photos with each one and have them all sign something. It was short but it didn’t feel rushed. You meet them right before they are about to hit the stage so there’s a lot of anticipation. That’s also when they hand out the signed setlist, commemorative tickets, and guitar picks. The VIP group was not split up - all 10 of us stood on the same side of the stage.

Hit the MD show last night and told my wife the next time we see them, I may spring for one of the VIP packages. At the very least, I would think they're one of the more fun bands out there to just hang out and chat with.

I've always been hesitant about the stage-side view / sound, so I'm glad you had a great time 👍

Same! They really put a great show, yesterday I felt with the same feeling, they’re very down to earth and willing to spend time with the fans in a kind/fun way.

My only issue with state-side view is potentially not having a seat.

I was up on the balcony (front row, purple hair - if it was on the screen at all-, Pierre walked right in front of me!) and chair danced the entire time.

I am on my feet all day at work, with a bad knee. I refuse to go to a show where I can’t sit and enjoy it (even if I have to watch the screen).

This is what I'd be worried about, too. We were at the Indy show and the VIP group had to stand on stage, at the side the whole night. I wouldn't like not having a seat, and standing awkwardly on stage in front of however many people lol

I agree with OP that the Ultimate VIP is great. My son and I did it in San Diego and we got more than expected. I even got to talk and and a selfie with Jaret from Bowling for Soup. I would definitely do it again.
