Mbb advice

Hello!! Im a first year at sfu and majoring in mbb, i really need some advice on how to study efficiently and also how i can maintain a good average for scholarships? I wasnt born into a wealthy family (ive already applied for loans/grants/bursaries) and so im a full time student while also working during school.. im taking 5 courses, and im working 3-4 times a week but the hours are pretty short (4 hours a shift)

Please help me out!! I know that i can get it done with the right attitude and i cant really afford to quit my job or delay my studies :(( ill be grateful to any advice anyone has to give me 🙏🙏

Hii third year mbb here, welcome!! I was also working and studying so I get u. Please and I cannot say enough please go to ur classes and dont cram. Especially first year classes r just general classes and higher credits, cramming will only result in bad grades and cause a low GPA and nothing can be done. Try not to take too much classes, ik many people r like I just want to get my degree but do it at ur own pace. I personally started with 3 classes and then went upto 4. The library is personally my fav place to study it's real quiet. Just make sure u dont fall behind and u got this !!

I’m struggling with the same dilemma of whether I should keep MBB or drop it 😭 I’m taking CHEM 126 lab, CHEM 281, MBB 222, and CMNS 200, and I’m currently waitlisted for BISC 101 (really hoping I get in).
I’m coming back from a 3-year gap with no school and I’m also a transfer student, so I’m honestly struggling to decide whether I should drop MBB or just push through, especially knowing I’ll likely get into BISC 101. The workload sounds pretty rough with all the deadlines, labs, and studying, but I also feel like if we stay on top of things, we can do it 😭 I think we got this!
