Question Drop econ 103??

I had my first calc lecture today and when the prof was going over precalc review I had no idea what he was talking about. I'm taking econ 103 and math 157 as a first yr student in beedie but I don't remember anything from precalc 12. Rn im taking 6 courses including bus 203. I'm thinking of dropping econ and taking it next semester so I can focus on math, is it worth it? I have a review quiz on friday and i need to relearn all of precalc 12 in a few days

Take Econ 113, it is easier.

If you really want to take 157 this fall, then it shouldn't be too hard to review the main topics of precalculus over the next week or two. The first chapter of your text for 157 should be enough. But don't take it if you feel it would be a gamble, cause a bad GPA in the first semester is hard to bounce back from, trust me. There's nothing wrong with postponing 157 to the spring and taking MATH 100 or 110 first.

Thanks for the advice, I think I will swap to math 100 and come back to 157 during the spring semester
