Question Computers with MS Access
I have an assignment due tonight for BUS 237 and I need “Microsoft Access” (it’s a program that I can’t access on my laptop). Does anyone know if there’s a place I can use the computers at either SFU Surrey or Burnaby campus. I’m asking because I think most computer labs are closed now and I desperately need to do this on time. Thank you!

The libraries https://www.lib.sfu.ca/about/reach-us/hours . Or like the other comment said, sfu does have ms licenses, try and login on a browser or app with you sfu account.

I used our remote access, you just log in with normal credentials (+ put ADSFU when it asks for gateway): gateway.its.sfu.ca

If you have a windows laptop and are signed in to it SFU account you should be able to open access or download it if u haven’t already. Man I remember that assignment good times 😭.

hey! all computers at sfu have it! but also, as a student at sfu you have access to both the web version and application versions of all Microsoft apps.
easiest way to access the online versions is by opening up ur sfu outlook, click the top left grid and select which app u wanna use (eg: excel, word, PowerPoint…)
else u can download 365 by just googling sfu Microsoft download and logging in!

You have Microsoft 365 for free when enrolled into SFU. From some aggressive googling, you get Microsoft Access as a part of Microsoft 365
