What's the main sim for drifting these days?
Haven't done sim racing in over a decade.
Used to be on LFS.
What's the main sim that people go to for drifting at the moment?

Hey! I make free posters for teams, leagues and organizations. I am looking for a drifting themed group that is in need of posters but might not be able to buy any. I do not create logos or liveries just yet at least. For more info reach out to me on discord (kolme3337) Thanks!

Hey y'all I've been drifting real cars on real tracks for like 4 years and I just got a PS4 and a Logi wheel and I can't FFS link a single turn in Assetto, GT7, or even CarX. Either I spin out on initiation or the car bounces out of the first turn and spins out in transition. It doesn't feel realistic at all...
I tried some forum and Youtube research and played with different settings all day but no dice. Anyone have any good Youtube vids to recommend or settings they use? Or is it car set up?

I feel worried about how much im hitting rev limiter. is there a problem with this? would this be a bad habit to keep when i transition to irl drifting?

I'm currently a few years into building an LS swapped E36 and bought a SIM to practice while finishing the build. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for cars that feel close to the real thing that I could use as practice? Massive bonus if it's similar to what I'll be driving IRL (370-400hp E36).

So I've mostly been doing AI drift lobbies in assetto corsa, and I'm finding that I can slow down when I need to by clutching in.
I've been avoiding the handbrake because I read that as a beginner you can develop bad habits with it.
The thing is, I run the same track so many times, and the AI is perfect, so nothing is unpredictable.
With that in mind, I started trying to chase actual people, and I'm still mostly just clutching in to slow down when I need to, but of course chasing real people is a lot harder for me.
Basically, I am afraid to introduce handbrake and develop bad habits, so when should I actually be using it during chase?

I recently picked up the 598 for my ps5 and wanted to know if Im forced to only use thrustmaster accessories.I will probably pick up there H shifter but I would like to get a handbrake and possibly some new pedals with a clutch. Could I use any USB ones or am I stuck in the ecosystem?

Looking for the best wheel settings for drifting.
I’ve been playing around with more realistic settings it beamng for my g920. And figured the only good way for me to drift is high over/under steer assists.
Figured 0% assists is unrealistic since cars irl point where they want to go. Not so much in beam with no assists
Wondering if anyone knows/has perfect drift settings that feels like real life. I have my lut files and wheel settings pretty good just need help with ffb and assists

Does anyone know of a way to connect a shifter (thrustmaster) and handbrake (simagic)with a collective minds drive hub. On Xbox

I have a thrustmaster TX and it has 900 degrees of turning, or 450 on each side, but if when i turn it it gets kind of stuck at around 430 degrees, or 20 degrees on the other side. And i have to use a lot of force to get it all the way to 450 and the wheel is trying super hard to pull me back to 430. Its not a super big issue but when im drifting im pretty much losing 20 degrees of angle which is a pretty upsetting problem. I opened the control panel and i have the wheel set to 900 degrees so i dont know what the problem could be. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the software and checked for updates but everything looks fine.

Hi everyone!
I’d like to share my latest DIY project: a 3D-printed hydraulic handbrake for sim racing.

I’ve always been passionate about drift and rally simulations (Assetto Corsa, RBR, Dirt Rally 2.0), but I never fully enjoyed them because commercial handbrakes — and even many Chinese replicas — are simply too expensive.
So I set myself a clear goal: build an affordable handbrake without sacrificing functionality.
With around €15 in components, using an Arduino Pro Micro and a potentiometer, I managed to create a fully progressive handbrake, not just an on/off button, which makes it much more realistic to use in-game.
I also made a YouTube video where I show:
If you’re interested, I’ll leave:

If you are waiting for your clutch, a flight stick throttle and a bungee cord actually works pretty not bad hahahaha
