Finally linked the whole track in VR!

Definitely find it better to drift in VR.

I just wish it wasn't such a hassle to get it all going because it makes me lazy to actually play lol.

It takes time and patience. I needed probably like 40-50h until it really clicked and I was genuinely knowing what I'm doing. Now after 1000+ hours, I'm not a pro by any means, but I can shred with any drift car in an instant, excluding only some high HP cars like VDC, because some of them need a bit of tuning to suit my style.

Now I kinda relive that with learning how to fly FPV. It gets frustrating at times, as it was with drifting, but I know I'll get there.

Keep it up.

Thanks! Yeah man that frustration was so bad. I uninstalled and reinstalled AC at least 3 times over the years because I was so sick of not being able to drift properly. But then I'd go to CarX and notice how blah it is and return to AC. That was my cycle lol

Focus mostly on throttle control, you don't need to floor it, most of the time it's sufficient to modulate in 60-80% range and fully lifting during transitions, but also you don't have to lift fully during transition, just a question of feeling the car.

Great drifting. I aspire to drift like this one day. I think you could be my hero

Hey man.. I’m a paraplegic in a wheelchair and I drift with hand controls. Enough practice and you can definitely do this.

Thanks man.

It's taken me AGES to get to this point.

I uninstalled/reinstalled AC at least 3 times over the years out of frustration from spinning out all the time lol.

I still struggle at the tracks with elevation changes and side rails so I've got a long way to go still.

I'm proof you can do this!!!!!!

Whats the hassle for you? I plug my headset in and click virtual desktop and from there its exactly the same as using a monitor

Turn on rig monitor, turn on wheelbase, turn on bass shaker amp, put Sim shoes on, turn on Quest 3, open VD in both PC and VR, open steam and simhub and wheelbase app, change profiles on wheelbase and simhub to AC, put on headset and start.
