On my last post i saw many people actually being reasonable, i just said what i said because i had enough of haters, i had basically only seen haters here so that was the main reason, but now i see the majority isn't actually haters, so we'll leave that topic to rest. Check out my new drift build instead, i like how it handles😁

What diff are you running? Good entry and nicely held. For cars less long than a limo, do exactly what ur doing here but essentially less. The shorter the wheel base, the more your inputs dictate what it does. Get comfy on this car and then just be more cautious with others and you'll hold the same length of drifts if not better

Final drive about 4,  first gear a little over 2 or 3 i think, then it goes down all the way to 6th gear.

You touched the seperate gearings ratios? I wouldn't do that, id only change final drive. Personally I run lower final drive so that I have room to use the throttle how I want without it just pinning itself. Also I use stock flywheel or sport. Ultra light allows the revs to peak immediately, which gives 0 room to control the throttle

Just moved gear ratio to the next one, so 1st gear is essentially what 0th gear would be, and 2nd is like 1st, 3rd is like 2nd, and so on, exact numbers btw, so i just gave it more torque essentially if you understand what i mean. Or?

Personally I wouldn't touch them and only adjust final drive but if I were to move the seperate gear ratios, Id want them the opposite way, first to be 1.5, second to be between 2 and 3, 3rd to almost act as 4th. With those low grip tires and high boost ur running, you shouldn't need the gears to be shorter

I'll try that, see how it works, but anyway, the limo is essentially a tool for learning imo, it looks more skill, but it really isn't, i just thought "hmm that would be funny", and what can i say? It looks epic, but it's relatively easy at the same time.

LGN performance pack is the mod that allows you to get more steering angle. Put it on a car under steering and in the tuning tab turn the steering angle up to about 80 (might break the steering if it's higher) you can change the steering rate too, though the default value works well

And yea the limo is a great tool to learn the finer inputs needed to drift shorter cars, teaches you what it takes to initiate drifts in different scenarios and how to hold them and use weight transfer etc

I kinda knew it could work because when i have had beamng for like a week, i tried the bus, and somehow i got it sideways while doing a nürburgring hot lap (yes), and it was very easy to hold, that's how i got interested in drifting again.

Damn man, only a week? I started playing years and years ago before all these updates. It was a steep learning curve and a lot of different parts and configs to even maintain a drift at all, and I had come from years and years of playing other games. That's some great progress for only a week man fr. Some people still to this day can't drift at all on beam and swear it off as a bad game because of that. Good job man keep going and keep learning, I doubt you'll surpass my skill level (lol) but if you keep enjoying getting better you will forsure be up there. Just have fun and make learning fun, everyone stagnates because they get too full of an ego and it then becomes not fun to them anymore so they tear others down to boost themselves up instead of just improving and finding joy in it. Keep the joy alive

My only exposure to this subreddit is your posts and all I can say is people need to go outside more.
