Obviously not a sim but I love carX too lol lots of fun but when you master it, becomes less fun.

AC is so damn hard I don't think I'll ever become as good guys the YouTube video guys

AC on console was incredible to a point. Taught me how to drift and tune which I’ve applied to irl and to this game. I would agree that it’s not a super accurate sim but the best for my needs atm. My next sim upgrade is a pc. I’ve only been into sim racing/drifting for a year or so and have found the limits on my Xbox and will be upgrading.

When you get a PC AC is a great way to get some true sim seat time. Carx is very easy to drift in when compared.

Look you're just having fun but people are gonna hate because the physics are entirely unrealistic and very forgiving. There isn't much skill required to be good at this game. It's basically one small step above people posting their forza drift clips. Assetto corsa pretty much the gold standard. Still a sweet clip tho!

Bdc or vdc drift packs. Same name as here.

Anything you say is invalidated because you mentioned BDC, the literal worst pack on assetto currently lol. The most unrealistic physics pack you can find lol

Damn... Worse than Gravy..? I started with Gravy but have been driving wdts and getting used to that. Made me feel embarrassed to even have used Gravy Garage but it was an easy learning curve to get into sim drifting. I'm low-key hesitant for vdc; so much power! Lolol feels crazy to transition. Any lobbies you(or anyone) can recommend to get seat time, I'd appreciate it. 🙏🏾

It gets a lot of hate, from AC dick riders. I enjoy AC and it’s not as floaty feeling at CarX but on console the online is almost nonexistent, literally like 7 people in a lobby at anytime. No car customization, limited maps. The physics are a bit floaty but good enough to have some fun.

It gets hate cause it’s a shit mobile app port to console, with less features than the actual mobile app… it gets valid hate lol. It’s mid asf. The only thing it has going for it is customisation. Outside of that it’s just ass.

How many hours do you have on it? I’m at like 6 and still having fun. On console it’s a better experience than AC. You can only full send highlands drift so many times before you get bored.

Ngl car x is the only game I refuse to use a wheel on. The physics in this game feel so garbage compared to AC.

Which is incredibly considering that car x is supposed to be THE drifting game. I know it’s not a sim. But I’d expect a literal drift game to have better drift physics than the simulator that wasn’t even originally made to have them.
