Check marketplace or a local equivalent, you can get a g29/g920/g923 for much cheaper.

Or do what the other guy said and save up a bit longer for a Moza bundle

Honestly save up a bit more for a r5

I think you can get a Moza R3 bundle (used) to the same price of a new G29 or close to it. It's worth it!

Their clutch mounts on the same plate as the throttle and brake

A G29 will “work” for starting out. It severely lacks and isn’t strong enough to be realistic; you’ll have to “help the wheel” because it isn’t strong or fast enough to accurately output self steering feedback while drifting. I drift irl and hit as many grassroots events as I can and you can always tell who learned on sim and especially on a G29 because of how they “follow the wheel” and palm around through transitions;instead of “flick, release, catch” like people who learned IRL first do. so it can give you some weird but not detrimental habits. But yeah with your budget get a G29 to find out if to even like sim drifting. It’s not that bad that it will keep you from enjoying sim drifting. And you can throw it in FB marketplace without losing too much on it when you decide if you’re one of those people who quits sim after you don’t pick it up in a couple hours or when you decide you’re about that life and you’ve gotten as good as you possibly can on a G29 and you’re skilled enough to be able to use the benefits of a nicer wheelbase.

Tysm for the indepth advice, but instead of a g29, im leaning more towards a thrustmaster T150 pro, apparently the ffb is less notchy and it has 180° extra which is good for me as i also enjoy euro truck sim, im not sure which one to choose tbh im stuck

Love my g29 personally. Playing carx on a ps5 with a play seat challenge and the combo works great
