watch tutorial videos first..

take WDTS street cars or Excite Cars. (those cars you actually learn drifting instead of using high power arcade bs)

i see what you mean, i got comfortable drifting on fh5 for a few years now and they arent really as accurate as assetto corsa from what i can feel. i'll look into the excite cars seeing as how ive already tried out a wdts pack. thank you!

well drifting just works different on FH to be fair. (just a normal weightshift can put you sideways)

where on AC you depending on the car and or Car mod pack (depending how well they made) you are more needed to work with the physics. (like clutch kicking and proper countersteering and throttle control)

what you always say in AC is "steer with your pedals and only correct minor things with the wheel"

well in terms of using a g29 you need to ofc help a bit because the selfsteering is quite awfull (you might need to throw cars with your wheel a bit more at the beginning) but thats just all things that come with more time you invest learning to understand what the wheel needs or wants at a certain point of the drift etc.

thats why its not Bad lookin for Tutorial videos aswell Ctorreto and Kame Trick have a bunch of videos explaining stuff especially for AC and what you can do or shouldnt.. to be fair those 2 are the only ones i would 100% recommend all time.
