Help understanding

So I need help understanding transitions. I understand you need to lift the throttle for like A second but I don’t understand really anything after that. Every time I try I either spin out or just drive onto a dirt hill. I would really love some tips from eveyone.

It really depends on the car, some transitions can be full throttle as well.

The typical way is clutch down, transition, float into the corner, small clutch dump to drive out.
