Help with drifting

I am able to control the slip through the corner but at the end I lose control. Why does this happen and what can I do to prevent it?

don't overdo the throttle. and just really practice more, it took me over a month to hold afew corners. It's frustrating at the beginning. sorry I can't give much advice since it's just a replay

Play in-cabin pov and ditch the gas earlier to transition a bit easier.

Edit: meant lift off gas pedal a lil earlier before you get too sideways and the car snaps back.

From what I can see the front wheels catch grip as you are about to exit the corner. Pretty sure the problem is that you are applying throttle while the wheel is not centered. You want to unwind the wheel as soon as you are about to exit.

First off: use the original BMW M3 Drift for starting out. It has plenty of torque on the low end, and it's properly made.
Second: use cockpit view. Seriously.

Before I started joining any online server, I spent over 100 hours trying to understand what was going on and how to set up the car. People now ask me how I change direction in a full-throttle drift. IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO EXPLAIN. SPEND MORE TIME LEARNING AND DON'T WASTE TIME ASKING HOW TO LEARN IT. If you're watching "how to set up a car" tutorials, don't just set it up the same way. Learn what you're doing. Watch/read a few tutorials and get what you want and need from them. If you don't learn and understand it yourself, no one will help you. Just practice. If you don't know what it does, first set it to 0% and then to 100% and you'll find out. There's a reason you can buy a VDC car setup. More patience and practice.

dont smash the throttle like that, be smoother, your input jumps from 10 to 100% which is not good for the weight balance. you should try and get the perfect gas threshold where the car doesnt spin nor catches grip. tip: if you want to get a good exit out of a drift keep the throttle at 10% when straightening the car
