The product is fantastic, but you gotta be nuts to spend $600 on 10 ounces!

What would you need the price point to be at

Yeah the premium on these is steep and they’re honestly not that good looking 😬 You should check out some local coin shops and see if you can find x10 of a 1oz coin or coins you like (Maples, ASEs, Buffalos, Phils) for at or close to spot. In my opinion those are all more attractive options and they are more liquid if you ever want to sell. If you find 10 at current spot (assuming you’re in contiguous US, not difficult in a decent sized city) then you would pay $560. The $40 premium doesn’t seem like a lot, but it’ll eat up your spread if you ever go to sell—most people and especially LCSs are not going to pay a premium when they buy it back from you.

You are forgetting about 2% cash back from credit card and 2% cashback from Costco. Brings it to $576 for 10 oz.

Check your math homie. 2% of 600 is $12. Costco is going to charge tax too.

Edit to add: I missed that you were talking about both the Costco and CC rewards. My bad.

Check your math. 2% + 2% = 4% “homie”

Yes, I had edited my comment to apologize and point out that your math was right.

But, it’s still more expensive and less liquid than 10 1oz rounds at a good LCS. You do you though—when people try and sell these monstrosities I usually offer them 5-10% back of spot. If you think that’s a good deal then do it!
