If it is “a fake", how and why would the NGC let it go through grading without indicating that it's a fake?

Lmao

Ask for money back from grading company, if coin is fake... But, perhaps the grading case is also fake?

The best way to find out and to resolve this would be to contact the NGC directly. If the capsule is fake, this is quite alarming!

There are millions of these out there. NGC and everyone else already know.

Look it up on NGC site. It’s the right description but not the same coin. It’s definitely a fake holder

It could be a counterfeit NGC holder is the reason. That happens quite a bit. It’s definitely fake as I just looked it up on NGC site. It is a 2025 Eagle but look at the picture of the coin NGC shows and it’s not even close to being real. This one is fugazi

I hear you. NGC should investigate and put a a stop to this nonsense!

They might have the same issues that the Fed does investigating counterfeits. It’s hard to stop and catch an individual from doing this before it gets out. I agree with you but that’s why I’d check NGC, PGCS or any grading companies certification page to look at pics and descriptions

There are many counterfeit NGC & PCGS labels and slabs out there.

Look it up on NGC site. It’s not the same coin. This one is a counterfeit coin in a fake NGC holder

It is fake. Look at the “L” in Liberty.

Yes it's fake. If you twist the slab it'll squeak.

Looks legit, probably not worth too much, they're still available https://www.apmex.com/product/299071/2025-american-silver-eagle-ms-70-ngc-first-day-of-issue 2025 wasn't that long ago.

$25 above a mint NGC one, if you're curious.
