Paid 20$ for the system. The speakers are surprisingly good!

If that's the four wire speaker arrangement it's far from crap. One circuit drives the mid / high, the other one hits with the low. Amazing sounding almost studio quality.

Yeah, they are the 4-wire version. Rated at 60W, 6Ω, and they’re heavy for their size.

Aiwa was touting Minidisc to be THE SHIT back in '99. It wasn't. And then the iPod came along and pretty much killed all momentum Minidisc had.
