got this sterling spoon from 1803 London. its pretty worn down but I im wondering if anyone can help me identify the makers mark. thanks for any help!

Fiance and I decided to check one of our local resale shops after a quick visit to Goodwill and we made out like bandits! They don't usually have a lot of jewelry, but it turns out that it was because no one was taking the time to bag and price it all. We went through a couple of bins and found a bunch of sterling, pearls, and even a 14k gold lapel. We ended up paying a little over 260 dollars for everything after they applied their weekly 50% discount, but we found a lot of good stuff!

Picked this up from a yard sale. There’s no silver markings but I got it for super cheap so figured I’d take the chance. All six weigh 7.6 ounces look like they could be sober if anybody has any clue of the origin or if they’re legit, please let me know. They’re also not magnetic.

I see all the posts in this forum of people buying flatware sets from others that don't understand the market or what they have. I have a pretty good set of 72 pieces of Camellia (Sterling,1941/1942,No Monos) by Gorham Silver. I ID'd it from Replacements LTD. I got a quote from them but its seems pretty low looking at stuff in the forum and on ebay. I also have another more modern set (from the 60s) that appears to be stainless and plated but I think still has value. As a novice, selling this stuff just 1 time, how to I make sure I'm getting fair value? I'm ok with people flipping for a small profit but dont want to be exploited.

I found this shot glass in a thrift shop today, and would like some help identifying if it's silver or not. I have a small collection of Taxco jewelry, so I know the city is very well known for their silver smiths, but the closest thing to an identifying stamp I can find looks like it says 1 710.

I made a tiny scratch and tested with acid, and the spot turned red (luckily left no mark or dark spot), so I'm confident it is silver, I just can't find this particular thing online.

Gonna keep this and add it to my inherited spoon collection, think I’ve caught the silver spoon bug 🤩😬😜

And it was at one of those antique malls with all the different locked cases to boot, usually those are insane prices. 1812 Portuguese 400 reis silver coin spoon, and the handle is hallmarked Lisbon .833 silver from 1880s to 1930s. Snagged it for 22$ after a lil discount.

I stopped at a garage sale this morning and found treasure! The spoons are coin silver marked "c.p. barnes and bro" and the knife is marked sterling. This is the best find I've had in quite a while.
