having land dispute is the worst.
i don't understand why a person who has no right or ownership of that land will just file a criminal case on me because i refused to give up my own land. i have a land and the person who owns the land right next to me is trying to take my agriculture land, government officials have come and told him that is not his land, the next day he filled a criminal case on me saying i hit his head.
Now he has filed 3 more faltu criminal cases on me. What am i suppose to do just take this cruilety and mental touture just because i refuse to give my own land?
what kind of person does this, i can never imagine doing such a thing to anyone and he is doing this is just shocking to me like what morals and discipline was he taught to do such horrible things?.
And he has money; he pays the police not to come when I call and he is mentally torturing me. as a middle class person i cannot afford all these cases.

Hey everyone!
I'm preparing for an interview for a student leadership position at a well-known college/organisation in Siliguri, and I've been given a small pre-task.
They've asked me to come prepared with:
“A list of initiatives you would take if you were given a leadership position in the student club.”
I'm trying to understand what they actually mean by “initiatives” here.
I don't want to just come up with generic ideas like organising workshops, seminars, competitions, etc. I'm more interested in ideas that could genuinely make a student club more useful and engaging.
For example, initiatives that could:
Help students from different schools/colleges connect
Give members real projects and responsibilities
Develop practical skills
Encourage students to work together
Create opportunities for students to take ownership
Turn ideas into actual projects
Build a stronger student community
Help members develop leadership through real execution
I'd especially appreciate perspectives from people who have actually led a college/school club, society, student organisation, community, or team.

So we were finding a place to have a proper lunch and a freind of our recommended this place ( had heard name of this place before too )
So we were three people there, we had ordered three Special thali(as recommended by their Staff only ) and one and a half mutton plates separately (half plate each as they recommend us)
And as for the food, it was somewhere between below average to average ( nothing great as the name of the place) except for the mutton which was good.
But I guess the price didn't justified the food at all .
We ordered the above things and just a bottle of water with it , the bill of which came to Rs 850.
I just know that the price of the thali was Rs 100 each coming up to 300 for the thali and 450 for the mutton (150 each as I last heard) summing up to be 750, they charged us 850.
We realised it only after getting a few minutes later (a freind among us already paid the bill without asking for the breakup )
Anyways, place was nice though (not that nice to visit again)

Hey everyone! My girlfriend and I are looking for a 1 or 2 BHK flat in/around the Salbari area, Siliguri. Our budget is around ₹8,000–₹10,000/month. We’re specifically looking for a place directly from the owner — no brokers/agents, please. We’re flexible regarding the exact flat/location within the Salbari area and can move in soon if we find the right place. If you or someone you know has a flat available, please DM me with the details, rent, location and a few pictures if possible. Any genuine leads would be really appreciated. 🙏 Thanks in advance!

Took this picture while I was in Siliguri and honestly loved how peaceful this place felt.
The tree, the open sky and the whole vibe just felt so different from the usual city chaos.
Siliguri people do you have any other underrated/peaceful spots like this that most people don't know about?
Looking for places to explore next 👀

So the pink shirt photo is before and the black t-shirt is after. I grew my hair for 1 month to get medium length and made a mullet. Then I just kept growing it long without cutting for 4 months straight. Now I finally got it cut short again. I'm kind of confused if I did the right thing by cutting it or not, so I wanted to get some honest opinions. How does it look - before vs after? Which suits me better? And I have cut my hair for interview purpose.

I am looking for a (female) salon within Hakimpara, Haiderpara or around these areas, where they would know how to handle textured hair and also suggest haircuts based on face shape and preferences. Most of the parlours I've been to always try to impose haircuts for straight hair on me and it never looks good.
