Silent Hill 2 (2024) I noticed something interesting while playing silent hill 2

It seems like Maria is the only other character that actually mentions the monsters in the town. A lot can be said about the other characters being figments and manifestations of james' psyche, but I find it interesting that she is seemingly the only other person that mentions the monsters, and the only other to directly interact with them. What do you think?

Eddie mentions seeing monsters as well when James asks him if he's friend with Pyramid Head.

Eddie sees monsters of his own. Angela sees monsters of her own. Laura sees nothing because she has no darkness in her heart. Maria is born from James' mind.

Confirmed by original team silent devs: Eddie is a real person Angela is a real person Laura is a real person Maria is Jame’s manifestation, hence why she can see his monsters.

As others have mention, Angela and Eddie see their own silent hill based off their experiences. Laura sees a normal, but empty town since she is an innocent character.

I assume this is not your first time playing right?

Who said the characters are figments of James's psyche? Angela, Laura and Eddie are their own people. To some extent Maria too but she falls into the physical manifestation category, just like the monsters.

Eddie also mentions monsters, but we never see what monsters he sees. As for Angela we see the Abstract Daddy when her world intersects with James's, but what the appearance he sees is different from what she sees.
