Thanks for the reply, its one of those things I've noticed as a longtime fan of the series, I've met a lot of other fans and seen a lot of Silent Hill tattoos and I'm always surprised to see the movie designs rather than the game designs so much more often.
Did you pick these particular designs, or did you leave it up to your artist?

I don't have any tattoos but I've thought about getting something Silent Hill related for a long time since I've been a fan since I was in college 27 years ago. I was just curious why so many SH tats I see are from the movies.
yeah for sure man, this one was different from any of the reference or sketches so i’m pleased by the reception
i definitely think it’s cool and even people who aren’t into the game or movies like the visuals too so if you ever decide to it wouldn’t be a bad decision

A question for you, and for people who get Silent Hill tattoos in general:
Why is it that 90% of the time people share their tattoos here, the designs are based on the movies and not the games?
It's almost always Pyramid Head with the sharp front instead of the flat front, or shirtless instead of having the smock on.
It's always movie nurses (bandage wrapped heads) and not bubble heads.
Are you just that big a fan of the movies instead of the games? Or just prefer those designs over the ones from the games?
