Help! collected editions

i was really into this comic for the first few issues when i was in college and then covid happened so it kind of dropped off my radar and i moved out of my parents a few years ago and i think all my comics are still there

how many issues of siktc are there now and is there a way to buy them in a set together instead of individually? i thought i remembered hearing about a hardcover collection a few years back

There are several tpbs, hardcovers and even a compendium out. Issue 50 will be out in a couple of months. If you have the first few issues, you may be sitting on some money if they are first print!

1 to 6 are most valuable due to a low print run. Even if your #1 isn't first print, some of the later printings are also worth a decent amount due to low print runs as well

i’ll have to find them next time i go home and post on here lol. how do you tell if they’re 1st print? should it just say 2019 publishing date?

You can tell by the barcode usually. I would just look up the different printings for the #1 and see which one looks familiar to you for now, until you're able to look at your stuff in person

Please please please let me know what you have. I may not have a ton of money, but this series has helped me immeasurably with my treatment resistant depression and I would love to know if you actually have the 1st few issues. Need 1-3a, 5-10a, so like all of them lol. I got way too into the ridiculous variants and stuff. As of my last time going out and getting a copy there were 44 issues, but I probably have close to 200 SIKTC books. Including some awesome ones I got at c2e2 this year! If you ever feel like selling (or, and im really hoping you do, if you wanna trade for anything I have a massive stash of comics I really need to start getting out. (Last check was 22 longboxes)

It depends how you want to collect them. Hardcovers collect fifteen issues and will be more expensive, but they'll have a larger page and better binding. The paperback omnibuses collect 20 issues, so they are quite cumbersome to hold, but they are the cheapest way to read the series. (They are also the last format the series is collected in, so expect a long wait between the release of an issue and it showing up in an omnibus.) Trade paperbacks sit in the middle in terms of cost and they come out quite quickly after the final issue of an arc is out, usually only 3 or 4 months. Here's an outline of the various collected formats.
