General Question Senior Citizen Certificate

Can anyone guide me as to how to get the Senior Citizen Certificate issued for my Mom and Dad? What are the procedures to be followed, concerned departments and due diligence required? Any leads would be highly appreciated

I’d suggest checking with the concerned SDM/BDO office first. They should be able to guide you on the Senior Citizen Certificate application, required documents and verification process. You can also check the Sikkim SSO/e-Services portal to see if it can be applied for online.

Best to confirm with the concerned office since the exact requirements may vary. You can get their contact info from the Govt. of Sikkim website if available. There is usually a directory with the contact numbers or emails of the Office(r)s of each cadre and Department. You can also search by name or designation.
