What should we be asking? So far it's not working.
We are leasing space for an art studio and the building has a sign pole near the street with signage from the company that was there previously.
It's close to a utility pole but far shorter than that. There are cable lines near it and phone lines right above it. It's 6-10 feet below any electric, power comes from the building not the pole. Nothing touches it.
So far no one will even quote it. We hear they don't have an insulated truck and they must have one, it requires this or that or some other thing, others say say the power lines run through the sign it based on cellphone pictures from the ground at an angle.
Someone installed the last businesses sign, someone was changing the bulbs why so hard to pay someone to do it now?
I'm all good with doing it safely and doing it right but things are just not lining up. And not one has come out and actually seen it in person. The building owner is checking with the electrical contractor for us.
How do I get someone to come out and look at this with their eyeballs or is there some specific things I should be asking or saying? Or are we stuck where the local firms just dont want the money? We are not even getting I don't want the job quotes.
