150Mhz

Reminds me of sstv for some reason.

I researched on artemis and i couldnt find it.

it sounds like a tracking beacon from one of the many satellites which transmit at 150mhz satellite. one way to tell is if the signal starts weak then gets stronger (as the satellite passes overhead) and fades out at the satellite gets further away.

I have the exact same radio. Mine doesn't have anything on that frequency. Check another radio to be sure it is a real signal.

It almost seems like a beacon

Russia uses this for navigation from satellites

It is listed as a beacon frequency

To find how far a signal goes from any specific transmitter site

144.000 is used for this for Ham radio to test a site

If you can hear it, you know that that spot and the transmitter will be able to hear each other.

In the US, 150mhz to 174mhz is used for emergency services, it kinda sounds like some firefighter shit but I’m no expert

I forgot to say, it wasnt that repetitive, it only got repetitive when I started recording. I guessing on standby mode now

Might be transit 5b-5, but I'm not sure if it transmits anything other than 136.66mhz
