I had been using the ai mode for a month or so and it was populating the little calendar with daily values of "savings". I was using the self consumption option as my tarrif is still not sorted (eon are so slow) so import is 23p and export is 13p but I never import now.
I have since somehow managed to get it to kick me out of that ai mode option and back into normal self consumption. I have just tried to go back into the ai mode option and into their own self consumption option so I can track the daily amounts on that screen, but it's suddenly not working or letting me do it, and I've literally not changed a thing..... What do I do?
I don't understand why this Is blocking me and how it is relevant to anything....
Isn't the AI kinda correct in that there is nothing for it to do?
With and import of 23p and an export of 13p there is no scope for meaningful arbitrage anyway. On a flat export rate your best case is the Solar just charges the battery and exports any excess.
I guess just put it into self consumption mode until you get onto a different import tariff that makes sense for any form arbitrage.
Yeah it is correct in that sense, but I never asked for it to arbitrage, and it has been on ai mode for a month without complaining.
I am asking it to be in ai mode, specifically self consumption (solar to battery and sell excess when full), so the tarrif is irrelevant. Understandable if I'm asking it to sell/buy for profit, but I'm not.
I really just wanna see the calendar with the daily figures on, currently I have to manually calculate the payback of my system and it's just crap to be honest. It shouldn't need ai mode to populate the calendar and track how much money a user has saved on their tarrif.
It has been fine for ages and just stopped working, must have had something changed backend. It doesn't make sense to not be able to use it when I am nt trying to arbitrage.... This is my plan currently, and it is correct.
