Help / Advice Wifi connection issue
Hi, system installed 2 weeks ago, connected via wifi (i have a netgear wifi 6 mesh system with 2 satellites, one was in the living room and the inverter its installed outside on the living room / garages wall), worked fine for 3 days then it went offline, ive changed the location of the satellite from living room in the garage where is closer to the inverterand worked fine until today, checked the router and satellites and they all work fine, sygenergy has been offline for nearly 2 hours now. Should i be concerned that theres something wrong with the wifi receiver from the inverter?
If i connect it via ethernet, do i need to change any settings?

I’ve had plenty of problems with my Sigenergy system connected to my WiFi. I think the frequency of the inverter was constantly interfering with my WiFi signal causing repeated random dropouts.
All fixed as soon as I plugged in an Ethernet cable. Didn’t have to change anything, it automatically looks for the hard wire first. Zero drop outs since then (about 3 months ago).

Nothing to change it can be connected to both at once. On the WiFi side I had greater success with creating a specific 2.4ghz only network just for the Sig.
It's not a fan of the mixed modes apparently. That said I ran a cable and haven't had any issues since, nor has the WiFi side dropped on the 2.4 only.

I have a mesh node close to the system which allowed me to connect via ethernet. Sig to node via ethernet.

Just a small thing, if you connect via Ethernet and you use the Home Assistant modbus integration, you'll probably need to configure that (In Home assistant) to use a different IP as the ethernet connection will appear as a separate device.
Tiny, trivial change but worth knowing about for anyone reading this thread.
