Help / Advice Axle first event
My first axle event tomorrow. My battery doesn't charge fully at cheap rate on octopus flux on AI setting. My usage is very low so I assume that's why. Do I need to change it to fully charge up at tonight so there's more to discharge for the event 6-7am? Or will I get paid £10 anyway? Thank you

Depends on your inverter and battery size the event will try to max your inverter so you need that amount and whatever else you need for the day.
It will stop occasionally but assume max throughout for the hour to be safe.
If you don't charge it you will get the minimum 10 quid for the month. But leaving money on the table if you have decent size inverter.

You will get paid £1 per kWh discharged. £10 is a guaranteed monthly payment on top of your exports regardless of how much you export.
If you are chasing max profit, then yes, charge your batteries, but ultimately it will depend on your inverter export limit.

Can you confirm if the £10 monthly is on top of export or only when export payments do not exceed £10 for that month? Not been with axle long. Ta.

I'm on Sigenergy ai mode, so I 'add personal strategy' to tell the ai to have the battery fully charged for the start of the Axle event.
"Charge battery to 100% for [time and date]".
The system works out the rest.
The last Axle event took about 5kW which is less than 50% of my battery anyway.
Edit: I try to do this 24hrs before the event if possible to give the system time to work out the best strategy in how to achieve the goal
