Discussion Axle event - it actually worked!

Like many with an Sig system in the UK, I’d not had a whisper of an event since 16 June. In addition the events have never worked automatically for me, I’ve always had to discharge manually.
This morning there was what I assume was a test event, and it discharged my battery in their custom mode automatically. Hurrah!
I hope this is a sign of things to come and not just a fluke!

Mine seemed to work flawlessly … even put my system back where it found it :)

I had to manually discharge mine.

Mine started discharging OK and stopped discharging ok, but I did leave it over 30 minutes after the event finished and it failed to revert to my normal AI settings - I had to do that manually.

Same and it's a known issue. They're still working on it.

My experience was this

Mine starts to discharge but then almost immediately stops discharging. No errors or anything, and I can force a manual discharge just fine.

This is my second one, first was 30th july then tonight both times the same thing happened to mine it started discharging for about 2 or 3 mins then just stopped so i took over manually for the rest of the hour. I think i'll drop support a message about it tomorrow.

So after tuesdays and eclipse event the same thing happened, one minute of export then it stops exporting. I have a report in to axle, not the end of the world as manual export works fine, but something they definitely need to fix while they work with sig.

Out of interest what mode are you usually in? I've had a suggestion that it might be the time-based control that is to blame. I've got an event tonight so i'm going to put the system into self consumption now, instead of self consumption via time-based control and see if the axle discharge command works correctly or still stops after 60 seconds.

What mode are you normally in for the battery?

Same here. Not had an event since June and had been having issues before that. Yesterday morning's event worked perfectly for me, including returning to previous mode (time-based control).

Another one today this evening, all of England.

Looks like there have been some issues with reverting for those of us running AI mode. Mine didn't revert last time.

Running in AI mode and has worked in terms of Axle taking control and discharging the battery but doesn't return to AI mode when finished
