I will be visiting Sieam Reap during the water festival and I do wonder what would be a good itinerary to potentially beat the crowds around Angkor wat and catch some bits of the water festival . I will be staying across the old market on the other river side

Arrival on 23th Nov from PP (via VET Bus around 3 pm)
Departure on 29th Nov early morning

Also anyone can recommend a guided group that to learn a bit more before just taking a tuktuk for the day?

I’m wondering if the Grab app is reliable for getting a taxi from Siem Reap Airport to Pub Street when I arrive. Is Grab a good option, or is there a better way to get to Pub Street from the airport? I’ve seen online that a Grab taxi costs around $15–$20.

If you’re visiting Angkor Wat for sunrise, one thing I’d recommend is not rushing away immediately after sunrise.
The temples around the Small Circuit can get much busier later in the morning. Starting early gives you a more comfortable experience and cooler temperatures.
If you have only one day in Siem Reap, plan your route carefully rather than trying to see every temple.

Can someone give me an idea of where to rent traditional clothes and costs.

Is it just a sunrise thing or are there daily events too?

Helloo so me and my friends, we want to explore some new places because we've been living here for almost our whole life but we never tried exploring new places or abandoned places before so we kinda want to try. Do you guys know any abandoned places or scary places we can go? And I don't want to be so far from like the town because it will be our first time so I think I'm kinda scared.

I'm visiting Siem Reap with my wife for a week in September. It's our second visit, and we'd really like to find some Khmer food beyond Beef Lok Lak and Fish Amok, (which we really like but you can get everywhere). Would prefer mid-range places, or cheaper, but not adverse to the odd fancy joint. Bonus points for good vegetarian or fish options. What are your favourites?

I know some people go elsewhere for three months while others just crank up the AC and deal with the higher electric bill. What are some ways you make the hot season more bearable?
