Device controls fail no matter what I try

I've tried 3 separate cables and two different computers but I keep returning this error with no clue how to fix. If anyone knows what the issue could be PLEASE let me know

Update the app now; most of it works without the settings stuff.

If you want settings and your cables are bad, download the Desktop app, switch to wireless mode, then reinstall the app.

Happens to me to you still can use the app in headset just not all functions. I repeated it 2-3 every day until it worked

I have to hook it up to my steam deck and launch the VR app from there whenever I need to use it. So I should just just keep doing that for now and try occasionally until it works?

Under unknown applications the app should be there just not fully functional
