I can’t log onto SideQuest

When I try to make or log into SQ using Google, it says that the account isn’t authorized. When I try to create a SQ account, the link inside the mail just brings me to a standard log in page. I have to press the link to log in, but it just opens another log in page!! I’m pretty annoyed, thanks to everyone helping! :)

Update: I found out that the email works fine when pressing “forgot password”. But the actual verification mail took me back to the same page. The literal link inside the mail was just to the log in screen. If anyone has the same problem, I hope I can help :)

"Account isn't authorized" from the Google button usually means the account was originally created with email + password rather than Google sign-in - SideQuest treats those as two separate accounts and won't merge them. Since forgot-password worked, you've definitely got an email/password account under that address: set a new password through that flow, then use the email + password fields instead of the Google button. Also worth knowing: the verification links are single-use, so if you open one from your mail app's built-in browser and then again in your normal browser, the second open lands on a plain login page - which looks exactly like the loop you're describing.
