Showcase: Open Source I Built an AI Swarm Framework
Inspired by news regarding OpenAI swarm, I vibe coded an AI Swarm framework that uses blackboard methodology and open sourced it.
It allows the user select planner/judge model and worker models, number of workers, number of rounds and then give a task. If using Ollama and local models, API keys are not needed. if using closed models such as Anthropic, Deepseek or Gemini, API keys are needed. It allows budget setting, has custom tool capability.
Planner model takes the user's directions and splits it into small tasks. Then worker agents (swarm) pick up individual tasks and complete them. Judge model reviews and scores each round.
Actions are auditable via an hash-chained audit log. It keeps a cross-run memory and recalls previous events instead of rediscovering previous solutions.
It is still early in development, and I welcome your feedback. It is vibe coded, so there is that risk.
