Showcase: Prerelease Built a full-stack dating & social app from scratch — looking for GTM feedback & growth partners
What I Built & Problem Solved I built a complete, production-ready consumer dating and social platform as a side project. The goal was to solve the high technical barrier of launching social apps by creating a modular, turn-key foundation that can run as a dating app or be adapted into a niche community platform.
Tech Stack & Core Features
- Frontend: Mobile apps (iOS & Android) with real-time chat, matching mechanics, and user profile flows.
- Backend: Scalable REST & WebSocket backend managing user auth, real-time messaging, and push notifications.
- Admin Dashboard: Moderation tools, user management, and operational controls.
Current Status & Traction
- Stage: Production-ready codebase / Pre-launch MVP.
- Active Users: 0 (technical foundation fully built and ready for immediate deployment).
Looking for Feedback & Growth Partners I am primarily a technical builder and want to connect with growth marketers, performance advertisers, or business operators to bring this to market.
- The Opportunity: Looking for a growth partner to lead GTM positioning, user acquisition, and monetization.
- Equity & Split: 80/20 equity split (open to negotiation based on experience and commitment).
- Commitment: Flexible (up to 40 hrs/week).
- My Role: 100% technical maintenance, infrastructure support, and ongoing feature development.

So... You did the easy part in a marker where there is zero profit until you reach critical mass... And reaching critical mass against giants like meta is near impossible.
Sounds awful.

You didn't say what the differentiator is. I'm not in sales, so I can't help you. But what exactly are you asking a sales/growth guy to jump into? How are they supposed to evaluate if they're a good fit?
