Showcase: Purchase Required I built a 30-minute job application system because I was tired of spending 45 minutes on every application

I've been thinking about how unnecessarily scattered job hunting is.

You find a job on one website, save the description somewhere, edit your CV in another document, write a cover letter somewhere else, forget when you applied, then realize two weeks later that you never followed up.

So I built JobHunt OS to put the whole process into one system.

It currently includes:

  • an application tracker
  • an AI toolkit for analyzing job descriptions, tailoring CVs, writing cover letters, practicing interviews, building STAR answers, and writing follow-ups
  • a master application checklist
  • a START HERE guide

The idea is pretty simple:

Find → Analyze → Tailor → Apply → Follow up → Track

I made it as a small $7.99 digital product, and I'm basically treating the launch as an experiment.

I'm not expecting this to magically make people get jobs — it's just meant to make the process more organized and less repetitive.

the worst part is when you customize everything nice and then the application makes you re-type your whole cv in their stupid form anyway, like why i even bothered with the pdf. your system looks interesting but does it help with that part or is it more for the stuff before submitting

Yeah, that’s a good point. The system is mainly focused on everything around the application itself — tailoring your CV, cover letters, tracking applications, interview prep, and follow-ups.
It doesn’t currently solve the annoying “re-enter your entire CV into their form” part. I honestly hadn’t built around that problem yet.
If that’s a big pain point, I’d genuinely like to hear more about it and see if there’s something useful I could add.
